What a beautiful place to go on holiday and we can't wait to show you the scenery! We're extremely lucky to be located on the edge of the beautiful Yorkshire Dales, surrounded by picture postcard countryside. We really make the most of the area so some of the outdoor activities happen out in the Yorkshire Dales so you'll get to see and enjoy this fantastic part of the world (mini bus transport provided).

Dogs need a holiday too! We're proud to be a `Dog Friendly` activity holiday. One of the joys of holidaying in the UK is the ability to take your dog with you on holiday and we're pleased to say, we welcome well behaved dogs on our family activity holidays for just £50 per dog. Please visit our FAQ section for more information. If you're a family that is nervous around dogs, please let us know on your booking form and we'll make sure your in a dog free activity group :)
"Just returned from a 6 night family adventure holiday as a family of 4 (age 6 and 10) plus our dog and we thoroughly enjoyed every minute. My children worn out from a action packed week did not want to leave. We did caving, climbing, canoeing, paddle boarding, raft building, high ropes, low ropes, zip wire, archery, abseiling, hiking and lots of opportunity to enjoy all of the beautiful scenery the local area has to offer. Evening entertainment every evening following a lovely 3 course meal. The decision to take the dog was absolutely the right one, she enjoyed being involved and didn’t hinder our involvement in activities. The staff were all fantastic right from booking the holiday through to the instructors and on site team. Thank you to every one at High Adventure".

At High Adventure, we make it simple and enjoyable with everything included - activities, meals, accommodation, and transport - so you can relax and have fun. Solo parents are welcome on all of our holidays but we also offer a few exclusive single parent breaks (which always sell out- so be quick!).
You’ll join a welcoming, social atmosphere with like-minded families, including other solo parents, where kids make friends, and everyone feels at home.

Our inviting centre offers a comfortable, relaxed space for families to unwind, socialise, and enjoy quality time together. With plenty of room to spread out, relax, eat, drink, and have fun, it’s the ideal place to feel completely at home.
Sleep easy in your private family room, designed for comfort and convenience. Choose from a private en-suite family room or a private room with shared toilets and showers nearby. Many of our rooms feature dormitory-style bunk beds, offering a fun and interactive space where kids can bond, and parents can enjoy the ease of having everything in one place.
Take advantage of our indoor and outdoor social areas, including comfy sofas, a coffee lounge, a licensed bar, a cinema room, and a new 15-acre field with streams, woodland, and meadows for the whole family to explore. Our friendly catering team serves hearty, home-cooked meals daily (included) to keep everyone satisfied and energised.
